Fire Department Responses in the Last Week

Here's a round up of the action at Snohomish County Fire District One over the past week.

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 321 calls the week of June 2-8: 273 emergency medical aid calls, 12 motor vehicle collisions, 10 fires, 14 service calls and 12 automatic fire alarms.

June 2

CAR FIRE:  At 9:34 a.m., firefighters responded to a car fire at 4th Avenue W and Center Road south of Everett.

COLLISION:  At 10:51 p.m., a car and a motorcycle collided in the 3100 block of 132nd St. SE north of Mill Creek.  Firefighters transported the motorcyclist to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

June 3

COLLISION:  At 4:30 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at 128th Street SW and 4th Avenue W south of Everett.  Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.

CAR FIRE:  At 7:47 p.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire was reported in the 22800 block of 53rd Avenue SW in Mountlake Terrace.

June 4

COLLISION:  At 1:40 p.m., a two-vehicle collision was reported at 116th Street SE and 35th Avenue SE south of Everett. One vehicle rolled and came to rest on its roof. Firefighters transported two patients to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and treated three additional patients at the scene.

June 5

COLLISION:  At 4:10 p.m., a car and a motorcycle collided at 152nd Street SW and 52nd Avenue W north of Lynnwood. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported by firefighters to Harborview Medical Center.

CAR FIRE:  At 10:22 p.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire on southbound SR 525 at Highway 99. The car appeared to be abandoned and no injuries were reported.

June 6

COLLISION:  At 2:45 p.m., a delivery truck and a bicyclist collided on Cypress Way near Larch Way north of Brier.  The bicyclist had minor injuries and was transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
