Edmonds Starbucks Robbed

A while male robbed the Starbucks at the 21900 block of Highway 99 on Tuesday afternoon.

Edmonds Police reported that the suspect approached a Starbucks employee at the front counter at 5:54 p.m. yesterday. He announced he was robbing the cafe and demanded money. The man did not display a weapon.

The suspect then wrapped the undisclosed amount of cash in newspaper and left the Starbucks on foot.

Witnesses described the suspect as 20 to 30 years of age, approximately 5’ 7” tall, and weighing 170 pounds. He wore a dark blue or black T-shirt with an abstract, graffiti-like printing on the front and long medium blue jean shorts, sunglasses, and a black Mariners baseball cap backwards. The man carried a black and beige Eastpak backpack.
