Edmonds Police Seeks Tips on Robbery Suspect

An unknown white man, wearing a grey sweatshirt with a scarf and jeans, went into Rite Aid and grabbed another customer, demanding drugs from pharmacy employees.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27, at about 7:25 PM, a man robbed the Rite Aid store located at 22515 Hwy 99 in Edmonds. 

The male entered the store and went directly to the pharmacy area where he grabbed a male customer and demanded drugs from the pharmacy employees.  The man said: “I don’t want to hurt this guy,” as he demanded narcotics.

The suspect was described as a white male with brown hair about 5’08” tall and weighing 175-180 lbs. He had on a grey hoodie/sweatshirt, jeans, sneakers, sunglasses and was wearing a scarf.  He fled the store on foot. 

A police K9 unit responded to the scene and attempted to track the suspect but was unable to locate him.
