Edmonds Police Searching for Armed Home Invasion Robber

A woman reported that a man had held her at gun point while he stole from her home, but so far the man remains at large.

At about 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, a woman called 9-1-1 to report that a man had come into her home and held her at gun point while he stole items from inside the house.  

Police said it is unknown if the suspect acted alone or had accomplices. As a precaution, Seaview Elementary was advised and temporarily locked down its’ after school activities. 

The man left out the front door of the house on foot, but as a K9 unit brought in by Lynnwood Police found only a short track, police said it's likely the suspect left in a vehicle..

A suspicious vehicle had been seen in the area just before the incident.  It was described as a square style older Honda type vehicle, grey in color.  The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 50 years old, 5’07”, having a fit build, wearing a black sweatshirt and jeans.

Edmonds Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
