YouTube Video Leads to Edmonds Animal Cruelty Investigation

Police said they are working with Animal Control and Snohomish County prosecutors to determine the health of the about 10 dogs at an Edmonds home and whether criminal charges are warranted.

Edmonds Police and and Animal Control officers are investigating an alleged animal cruelty case involving about 10 dogs after being tipped off to a video posted on YouTube depicting cruelty.

Sgt. Mark Marsh said it's not clear yet exactly what the extent of the abuse could be or the condition of the individual dogs.

After the Edmonds Police Department was made aware of the video depicting possible animal cruelty involving those dogs at a residence in Edmonds in the 23600 block of 76th Ave W, they immediately started an investigation in collaboration with Edmonds Police Animal Control officers.
