"We want to encourage the citizens of Edmonds to remain attentive to suspicious activity occurring in our community," said .

"Burglary suspects have been known to drive around neighborhoods with easy access to main roads while they choose a residence that appears unoccupied. The suspect will typically knock at the front door before going around to a side or back door or window to gain entry. Alert citizens have an opportunity to help police identify a burglar during this phase by calling 911 to report the suspicious activity."
