Edmonds Night Out Tonight: Learn How to Prevent and Combat Crime

Today, July 30, the Edmonds Police Foundation will host its annual "A Night Out Against Crime." The foundation invites community members to Frances Anderson Center Field, 700 Main Street, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event is a chance to learn how to combat crime while meeting neighbors, local businesses and emergency responders who care and make a difference.

This free community event is put on by the Edmonds Police Foundation.

Meet Edmonds police and fire officials, the K-9 Unit, SWAT Unit, public safety agencies from South Snohomish County, local businesses and non-profit organizations. Check out up close emergencies vehicles, the SWAT Unit’s bus, the K-9 unit police car and a fire truck.

The Edmonds Police Foundation is a nonprofit that assists the Edmonds Police Department through education, fundraising and citizen involvement.
