Counterfeit $20s Circulating, Heroin Overdose - Edmonds Police Blotter

The following information includes some of the crimes listed in Edmonds Police logs from July 15-18, 2013.

From Edmonds Police:

July 18

7:06 a.m., 7600 block 218 ST SW, verbal domestic between mother and adult son. Son found to have outstanding warrant. Son found hiding in the bathtub, arrested and booked into Snohomish County Jail on confirmed warrant.

July 17

10:52 p.m., 300 block 4th AVE N, report of assault of child.

6:52 p.m., 9000 block 238 ST SW, While residents are on vacation, their house is entered and vehicle is driven.

10:52 a.m., 24111 Hwy. 99, Male sought for vehicle prowling was discovered ingesting heroin behind neighboring business. Male arrested for possession of heroin with vehicle prowl charges pending.

July 16

10:03 p.m., 24200 Hwy. 99, Intoxicated adult male crashes on skateboard and is involuntarily taken to hospital.

9:14 p.m., 10400 block 231 ST SW, Residential burglary.

6:26 p.m., 17900 block 75 PL W, Adult male overdoses on suspected heroin and is transported to the hospital.

4:33 p.m., 600 block Daley St, Resident finds man prowling in her vehicle parked inside her garage. 

July 15

7:43 p.m., 21900 block 86 PL W, Unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s residence, ransacked the residence and stole various items such as jewelry, money, etc. 

6:12 p.m., 1000 block of Walnut St, Residential burglary. 

1 p.m., 700 block Hemlock St, Unknown subjects egged house. 

12:22 p.m., 21000 block Hwy 99, Bar owner locates counterfeit $20 in ATM. 

11:31 a.m., 22000 Hwy 99, Confiscated obviously counterfeit $20 bill which male attempted to pass at gas station.

9:13 a.m., 700 Main St., Burglary of one office and attempt on second office inside Francis Anderson Center over the weekend.

6:40 a.m., 9601 220 St, SW, Windows scratched and shed damaged with graffiti at elementary school. No suspects.
