Body Found in Gold Park

On Oct. 6, walkers in Gold Park found a deceased male, Lynnwood police said Monday.

A police investigation, in cooperation with the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office, has begun to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.  An autopsy was performed Oct. 7 and the cause and manner of death will be determined by the medical examiner’s office.  Identification of the decedent will also be made by the medical examiner. 

This death does not appear to be suspicious at this time or the result of criminal activity, police said. There is no further criminal investigation into this matter and there is no threat to the public.
