Bellevue Teens Busted in Edmonds Burglary; Alert Neighbor Credited

KOMO News is reporting that a neighbor saw a group of teens break into an Edmonds home and called the police.

Edmonds Police officers arrested four teens -- three of them from Bellevue -- on suspicion of home burglary, KOMO News reported.

The fourth suspected burglar is from Lynnwood. A fifth suspect is at large.

Police told KOMO news that a person who lives on the 7900 block of 191st Street Southwest saw a pair of teens go into a nearby house at approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The neighbor then saw the people drive off in a silver car before the police arrived. An Edmonds police officer saw the car and stopped it near 182nd Street Southwest and 88th Avenue West. 

The driver bolted and got away, police said. Officers then arrested the passengers. The Bellevue teens arrested ranged in age from 16 to 18 years old. The suspect from Lynnwood is 19 years old.
