Crime & Safety

A Night Out for Edmonds

Join the Edmonds Police Foundation for the annual Edmonds Night Out event, combining an evening of fun activities with public safety awareness.

We are lucky to live in a town that has relatively low amounts of crime, but oftentimes we take for granted the reasons why we are able to do with. With an outstanding police, fire and first aid force, the denizens of Edmonds can rest a little easier knowing that if they do need help, they can count on the men and women who dedicate their lives to helping the community.

One of those groups, the Edmonds Police Foundation, is making safety a little more fun this evening with its annual Edmonds Night Out, an event focused on bringing community members together and educating them on public safety.

Formed in 1996, the foundation is a community-based organization that serves to assist the Edmonds Police Department in the areas of education, fundraising and citizen involvement. Overall, their goal is to make our town a safer place to live. They help raise money to provide the police force with modern equipment and up-to-date training
