Letter to the Editor: Thanks for Supporting Those Less Fortunate
Bryan Karrick from the Alderwood-Terrace Rotary Club thanks everyone who helped with the Sharing Tree at Alderwood Mall.
To the Editor:
Alderwood-Terrace Rotary would like to thank the residents of South Snohomish County for their tremendous support of the Sharing Tree at Alderwood Mall. This year we have collected and distributed over 1,300 toys, clothing, and other gifts for the local Food Banks, Neighbors in Need, Lynnwood High School's Adopt-a-Family, Pathways for Women, and The Homework Center.
I would also like to applaud the assistance of the Lynnwood High School DECA and FCCLA students, Clothes for Kids volunteers, and volunteers from Edmonds Methodist Church who helped to staff our Sharing Tree location this year. By working together, we helped many of our less fortunate friends have a happier holiday season.
Thanks and Happy New Year,
Bryan Karrick
