Edmonds CC to host Lynnwood City Council, Mayoral Forum

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Candidates for the City of Lynnwood City Council and Mayoral races will appear at a question-and-answer forum 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Edmonds Community College’s Black Box Theatre, 20000 68th Ave. W. Free and open to the public, the event is sponsored by Edmonds CC, the Snohomish County League of Women Voters, and Sno-Isle Libraries.

The forum will be moderated by Edmonds CC’s Joan Penney, Dean of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Each candidate, after giving a brief introduction, will have an opportunity to address a wide range of issues that affect Lynnwood.

The statewide primary election is Aug. 6. The top two vote-getters in each race will advance to the general election on Nov. 5.

Here are the candidates, the majority of whom are confirmed to attend. Those who do not attend are allowed representatives in their place, but representatives will not be able to participate in the Q-and-A.
