LeRoy Middleton, Co-Founder of Reid Middleton, Dies at Age 87
The longtime Edmonds resident co-founded the company in 1953.
LeRoy Middleton,who co-founded the engineering, surveying and planning company Reid Middleton in 1953, died Jan. 5 at age 87.
Mr. Middleton, a World War II veteran, was a longtime Edmonds resident and nationally recognized member of the Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors’ communities. He served as chairman of numerous councils and was president of LSAW and Washington Council of Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors.
Among Reid Middleton's many local projects was the seismic retrofitting of the ; improvements at Edmonds Community College; and consultation with the City of Emonds on its Shoreline Master Program Update.

Mr. Middleton was preceded in death by his wife, Janet, in 2001.
He leaves behind his children: Michael Middleton, Robert Middleton, James Middleton and Susan Dennis (Earl). He also leaves seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
