Jazz Trombonist David Weir Tuttle Dies

A celebration of life will be held Jan. 15 in Edmonds.

Jazz trombonist and Latin percussionist David Weir Tuttle died on Dec. 20 in Edmonds. Tuttle, 85, was a Seattle native.

Tuttle was also a beauty industry salesman.

Tuttle is survived by his wife, Olga; children, Victor (Sherre), Marty (Janette), Julia Rouse and Melanie Hingson (Tom); 15 grand and great-grandchildren; his brother, E. Clark Tuttle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Edmonds Conference Center, 201 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds.

Remembrances may be made to the Carol Rowe Food Bank of Edmonds or a favorite charity .
