Cascade Symphony Orchestra Founder Robert Anderson Dies
Memorial concert is planned for the fall for Anderson, who also led music education for the Edmonds School District.
Robert B.Β Anderson, founder and conductor emeritus of the Cascade Symphony, died on May 11, 2012, at age 94.

Last Monday night's final concert of the season was dedicated to Anderson.
According to the The Weekly Herald, Anderson, who founded the orchestra 50 years ago, was the longtime head of music education in the Edmonds School District.

The Herald reports that a memorial concert is being planned by Frank DeMiero, founder of the Edmonds-based DeMiero Jazz Fest, this fall.
