Pictures: July 4th in Edmonds

It was a glorious day to celebrate the country's 236th birthday.

When you hear "It's an Edmonds kind of day," you think of clear skies and friendly people.

The city's slogan held up Wednesday, July 4, during the aptly named An Edmonds Kind of Fourth activities.

The celebration, presented by the Hazel Miller Foundation, featured a children's and main parade, a waterball competition at City Park and a fireworks show at 10 p.m. at the Civic Center Playfield.
