Edmonds Floretum Garden Club Wins Top Honors at State Competition

Awards for yearbook and work at Old Milltown, among others.

The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club won several awards at the Washington State Federal of Garden Clubs convention held earlier this month.

Here are the following state-level awards:

  • First place: Yearbook, for clubs with more than 100 members
  • First place: Membership brochure (detaling Edmonds' flower basket program)
  • Second place: Web site
  • Third place: Civic achievement for  
  • Recognition: 90 Years Membership in the WSFGC and Evergreen District Recognition: Donation to the Conservation Teacher's Scholarship 
  • Award of Merit: Honor Club
  • Award of Merit: World Gardening

Meanwhile, the club has posted pictures of the Hazel Miller Plaza dedication on its Web site.
