Scenes From the First Day of the Edmonds Garden Market

The 10th annual market is a great place for people, dogs, veggies, flowers, coffee, salmon and much more.

It was an Edmonds kind of day on Saturday with the opening of the 10th annual , the smaller version of the summer market.

It runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through June 23 at the Public Safety Lot at Fifth and Bell.

Edmonds Patch contributor Larry Vogel was on hand to talk to those selling their wares and to document this quintessential Edmonds experience. Check out his great pictures.

Did you take some pictures of your own? Feel free to add them to Larry's.

The larger Edmonds Musuem Summer Market runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays from June 30 to Oct. 6. There will be no market on Aug. 11 due to A Taste of Edmonds.

For more information on Edmonds' two markets, including on how to be a merchant, go to the Edmonds Historical Society and Museum Web site.
