Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the closing day of the World’s Fair in 1962, Seattle-based Bartell Drugs presents “Dollar Day” at the Space Needle this Sunday, October 21.

Retro pricing will be in effect all day from 9:30 am -11 pm. Tickets, purchased the day of the event at the Space Needle, are limited to one per guest and are good for 2-hr time blocks throughout the day.

Supplies are limited, and tickets are expected to sell out, so the public is urged to come early to secure admission.

Family-owned Bartell Drugs adds to the celebration with a number of activities at the base of the Space Needle:

  • The first 2,000 ticket holders to visit the Bartell Drugs tent will receive a voucher for a free “Space Needle” themed shopping bag, redeemable at any Bartell Drugs location. The colorful bags spotlight artwork and photography submitted by winners of a region-wide contest and are on sale at Bartells.

  • While supplies last, free Space Needle and Bartell Drugs balloons for visitors exiting the Space Needle.

  • EveryMove (https://everymove.org/) and Bartell Drugs will share information about a newly-launched, innovative rewards program encouraging healthy living.
