Young Artists on the Move: 'Best Book I Ever Read' Poster Contest Winners

Posters on display at Frances Anderson Center through Thursday.

What to see some great artwork by a bunch of talented kids?

The “Best Book I Ever Read” poster contest is an annual event that gives Edmonds third-graders and other students of multiple ages the opportunity to make posters featuring a favorite book.

The contest started 15 years ago and was designed to celebrate both literary and visual arts while coinciding with National Children’s Book Week. The program is sponsored by the Edmonds Arts Commission and the Friends of the Edmonds Library in cooperation with the Edmonds School District.
