Mayor Dave Earling posted the following on Facebook: "Just made the decision to keep the City open today. Our great Public Works and Public Safety staff have done an outstanding job in keeping the main streets open and safe. We will close City Hall if conditions become too extreme. If you are out and about, stop by City Hall and say hello ... we will be there!"

At 12:30 however, the mayor made another decision. He decided to close City Hall to enable employees to get home during daylight hours. All nonessential staff will be allowed to leave at 2 p.m. today.

Residents should call 425-771-0235 for information regarding City services during severe weather conditions. If there is an emergency or serious problem, call 911. For information on City Hall closures go to the City Web site or call 425-775-2525.
