Vacation Bible School Variety

Local churches offer a plethora of fun and affordable Vacation Bible School camps for kids of all ages.

Summertime is upon us, and after a weekend of sunny skies and warm temps, kids are surely chopping on the bit for school to finally let out for summer break. And while the little ones are always eager for a break from hitting the books, it usually isn’t long until they are moping around the house proclaiming their boredom and shooting down every one of Mom’s afternoon activity suggestions.

This year, stay ahead of the curve and sign the kids up for one of the affordable weeklong vacation bible school camps offered at numerous local churches. Each camp offers a different theme, from exploring space to a wild safari, and each day is filled with fun activities, including singing, crafts, games, snacks, a Biblical message and more! Not only does the camp allow your child to interact with a group of kids, and possibly make some new friends, but those child-free hours allow you a little free time of your own. Clearly, a win-win situation!

We’ve compiled a list of just a few popular VBS camps, most of which happen in June or July. Registration starts early for quite a few of them, so if not listed, check the individual church’s website for more information, including camp costs.
