Travel Guru Rick Steves: Smoking Pot Is "My Civil Liberty"
Steves, long an advocate of the legalization of marijuana, tells reporter at Seattle's recent Hempfest he should be able to relax at home with a joint.
Rick Steves has never made a secret. The Edmonds resident, who hosts the PBS travel series Rick Steves' Europe, recently spoke to reason.tv at Seattle's annual Hempfest about his position.
In a video released this week, Steves said:
"I'm a hardworking, tax-paying, kid-raising, church-going citizen of this country, and if I work hard all day long and want to go home and relax with a joint, that is my civil liberty."
