Third Thursday Art Walk Tonight Packed With Art and Entertainment

More than 40 locations in Edmonds taking part. There will be special musical performances by the Edmonds Jazz Connection.

Manya Vee of Manya Vee Selects reports that the Third Thursday Art Walk tonight is really kicking into high gear this month, with 40 locations and lots of additional activities.

The art walk, celebrated its 10th anniversary this years, is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at various locations downtown.

by Jeff Stillwell and Manya Schilperoort, owners of Manya Vee Selects, the art walk now attracts up to 600 visitors, who tonight will be able to partake in arts, entertainment, tastings and demos.

A big highlight tonight will be musicians from the Edmonds Jazz Connection, which will serenade visitors at Manya Vee Selects, Arista Wine Cellars, Cole Gallery and The Savvy Traveler. (The Edmonds Jazz Connection is May 26 this year.)

Other highlights include watercolor demos at Aria Studio Gallery; book signing at Edmonds Bookshop; painting demo at Autumn's Framing; wood turning at Xavier Salazar Woodturning; Ron Dalton at Wells Fargo Advisers, LLC; Solar Jazz Trio at Fabric of Life; d'Elaine Johnson presentation at 7 p.m. in room 206 of the Frances Anderson Center; three prize drawings at Champions Real Estate; coffee specialties at Waterfront Coffee Shop; and live music at The Loft at 8 p.m.
