Spring Into Beauty at Bartell Drugs

Free samples, beauty demonstrations and discounts all part of the Bartell Drugs Health and Wellness Fair.

Spring is a time for fresh starts and new beginnings. What better time to get ready for the upcoming months than a little personal makeover?

Starting this week, more than 20 locations in Western Washington, including the Edmonds branch, are participating in a two-week Health and Beauty Event featuring health clinics, free daily samples, sales and in-store cosmetic demonstrations.

“We used to be part of the Northwest Women’s Show,” explained Jannel Wheatley, assistant manager at the Edmonds branch, “but we are not part of it this year, so we’re putting on our own health and beauty events.”

According to Wheatley, Bartell will be giving out free travel-size samples of products like mouthwash and shampoo. There will be different sample available each day, including chocolate from Godiva and Seattle Chocolates and fresh-baked scones from Fisher Scones.

This Saturday, the Edmonds Bartell Drugs will host two in-store beauty demonstrations. Get Spring makeover tips and test makeup products from 2 to 5 p.m. with a cosmetic demonstration, and hair help from Conair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
