Skates and Strikes to Support Local Veterans
Join the Edmonds Community College Veterans' Resource Team & Club Vet at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate tonight to support returning veterans as they go back to school.
Tonight, head to Lynnwood Bowl & Skate to give back to those who have dedicated their lives to serve and protect our country. The Edmonds Community College Veterans' Resource Team & Club Vet are hosting a Summer Fun, Fun, FUNdraiser to help veterans and their families take advantage of the education resources available to them.
Bring the whole family for a night of hot dogs, soda and bowling and roller skating. There will also be a raffle and a silent auction with items donated from local businesses such as Third Place Books, Massage Envy and Arnies Restaurant.
The $15 tickets (per person) include hot dogs, soda and skate rental, and $10 from each ticket goes directly to Club Vet. The group helps veterans and their families transition from military to civilian life as well as connecting them with educational resource on campus at Edmonds Community College. Eligible veterans can receive up to 25% off of tuition at the college.

Veterans helped support our country; now help support them! Event starts at 6 p.m. with hot dogs and mingling, and bowling and skating goes from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
