The North Sound SeaWolves FC, which played its first season in 2011 in Everett, will play its 2012 home games at Edmonds Stadium on the campus of Edmonds-Woodway High School.
The club expects to make an official announcement in the next week or so when all the details have been worked out.
The SeaWolves play in the USL Premier Development League, the highest level of amateur soccer in the United States. Last year's home games were played at Frank Goddard Memorial Stadium at Mariner High School.
“The PDL is the best place for young players to showcase for Major League Soccer and other leagues,” SeaWolves owner/coach Alex Silva said.
In 2011, the expansion SeaWolves went 4-6-4 and finished sixth in the Northwest Division of the PDL.
from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Edmonds Stadium. In a tryout last March, the club had 140 potential players turn out, and Silva hopes for a similar pool of players this year.
The SeaWolves play in the PDL Northwest Division, along with the Abbotsford Mariners, Kitsap Pumas, Portland Timbers, Sounders FC U-23 (formerly the Tacoma Tide), Vancouver Whitecaps, Victoria Whitecaps and Washington Crossfire.
The Kitsap Pumas were the league's 2011 champions.
Tickets are available at the SeaWolves' Web site. The 2012 schedule will be announced in February.
