, the City of Edmonds has set up a sandbagging location at its at 7110 210th Street SW, Edmonds.
"The facility is open until 4:30 p.m. today and, with all likelihood, we will also be around tomorrow dealing with the melt off," said Public Works' Tod Moles.
The sandbags are free, but residents have to fill them themselves. Those who need assistance will get it, said Moles.
Residents should be aware of potential flooding issues and try to keep their drains clear if they can do so without endangering themselves.
Flooding concerns can be reported at 425-771-0235 until 4:30 p.m. today. After hours and through the weekend, reporting should be done by calling 911.
"We will have a crew on duty throught the night plowing slush, checking drains, and responding to flooding concerns," said Moles.
