Oregon Bus Crash Claims Life of Lynnwood Store Owner, Others with Washington Ties

Also among the victims were a Spanaway man and a Korean couple with relatives in Bothell, while a college student from Bellevue is feared dead.

A convenience store owner from Lynnwood was among those killed in the Oregon bus crash that claimed the lives of nine people, including several with ties to western Washington, according to published reports.

Yong Ho Lee, 75, of Lynnwood, died in the Sunday crash on Interstate 84 near Pendleton, her son told The Seattle Times.

Lee operated convenience stores with her husband, Se Chong Lee, north of Seattle before retiring several years ago, said her son, John Lee.

Also killed in the crash were:

•, of Spanaway. He was a frequent contributor to Lakewood-JBLM Patch and owned and managed a mobile home park near Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

•A Korean couple with ties to Bothell, identified Wednesday as Oun Hong Jung, 67, and his wife, Joong Wha Kim, 63. The couple had been staying with relatives in Bothell, according to The Associated Press.

And feared dead, according to the Seattle Times, was Richard Sohn, a 19-year-old college student from Bellevue.
