Harry Potter Fans: Quidditch Broom-Making Class Coming Up

The class is May 24 at the Frances Anderson Center.

Calling all Harry Potter fans!

The Edmonds Parks & Recreation is offering a mini-Quidditch broom-making class for ages 7-11 on Thursday, May 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The class will be held at the .

Participants can create their own 24-inch broom, a smaller version of the one that appeared in the popular movie series.

You'll be able to tie, wind and cut to create your broom made of broomcorn, string and wood. The instructor will provide all materials. Wear long sleeves as the broomcorn can be itchy.

The class is $39 for residents, $45 for nonresidents.
