  • Where/When: 5-11 p.m. through Monday at the Nile Golf Course in Mountlake Terrace. 
  • Why Go: Get ready for a ghoulishy good time at the inaugural Nile Country Club Haunted House. Delight in the fright as you embark on our scream-worthy haunted tour. Family fun 5-7 p.m., full scare 7-11 p.m. 
  • Price: $10

  • Where/When:  Noon-4 p.m. Sunday at Firdale Village.
  • Why Go: Looking for a pet friendly Halloween activity this weekend? Check out the third annual Firdale Furry Festival in Edmonds. Activities include raffles, food and pet-friendly vendor booths. Come see the doggie costume contest, the warm water therapy demos and meet the other vendors. Leashed, socialized dogs are welcome.

  • Where/When: 9-4 p.m. Saturday at the .
  • Why Go: The 31st annual book sale has wide selection of materials of interest to children, teens and adults. General pricing of books, CDs and DVDs range from 50 cents to $3. All proceeds benefit the library. Help keep Edmonds green by bringing your own bags or boxes to carry home your purchases.

  • Where/When: 1 p.m. Saturday at .
  • Why Go: Stop by Third Place Commons between 1-1:45 p.m. to catch spooky dancers getting into the spirit of the season.

  • Why Go: The Richmond Beach Community Association's annual Halloween Carnival is a tradition in the community. This event features traditional carnival games with prizes, inflatables, a haunted house, a raffle and food. Children and parents are encouraged to wear costumes.
  • Admission: Free. Because parking is limited, attendees are encouraged to walk or carpool if possible.
