  • Why Go: Visit American Brewing this Saturday and get your live music fix for the weekend. Steve Stefanowicz will be perfoming an acoustical mixture of rock and blues. He's been performing at American Brewing since the beginning and is always a crowd pleaser.

  • Why Go: The annual Edmonds Sculptors Workshop Holiday Pottery Sale is happening this weekend at the Frances Anderson Center in Edmonds. Garden art, birdbaths, mirrors, ceramic sculptures and wall pieces, platters, trays and bowls are just a sampling of the hundreds of one-of-a-kind artworks by local artists available at the Sculptors Workshop annual Holiday Sale.

  • Why Go: Join ArtWorks in Edmonds this Saturday as professional local artists turn their talents towards art with the gift-giver in mind. This year's show includes pottery, fiber arts, woodturning, jewelry, paintings, photography, glass and more.

  • Where/When: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday at .
  • Why Go: You can do some holiday shopping in Shoreline during Shoreline Parks' seventh annual Holiday Crafts Market. Browse the two rooms filled with hand-crafted items and pick up some unique holiday gifts.

The Eight Reindeer Monologues

  • Where/When: 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at .
  • Why Go: If you missed the show last weekend, this weekend is your last chance. Join the drama students at Shoreline Community College as they present The Eight Reindeer Monologues, a series of dark and hilarious monologues written by Jeff Goode and directed by SCC student Klae Bainter.
  • Tickets: $7.
  • Where/When: 2 p.m. Saturday Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
  • Why Go: Join the Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra for their fall concert this at Benaroya Hall. The concert will open with “Jupiter” from the Planets and bring back the Egmont Overture to new life. The second half of the program will feature 250 voices of the Shoreline School District Elementary Honor Choir under the direction of Tam Osborne. They will sing the world premiere of a commissioned piece, "Folk Song Trilogy," by Frank Halferty and end the concert with a special symphonic setting of the “Sound of Music.”.

  • Where/When: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday at Third Place Commons, Lake Forest Park.
  • Why Go: The Third Place Farmers Market returns just in time for Thanksgiving. You can select locally grown food for your Thanksgiving meal. Shop with your favorite farmers upstairs in the Commons and find unique hand-made holiday gifts at the crafts fair on the lower lever of the Towne Centre.
