  • Where/When: Game starts at 6 p.m. on Sat, May 28 at the .
  • Why Go: The Sounders take on Real Salt Lake this Saturday and Taki Tiki is probably your best bet to catch the game locally. Game starts at 6 p.m. and happy hour starts at 9 p.m. just in time to save you some cash on a round of drinks to celebrate another Sounders win. Go Sounders!
  • Cost: No cover.
  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sat, May 28 at the , and the .
  • Why Go: The Edmonds Jazz Connection will feature 20 student jazz groups from mainly local and regional schools all performing at three concurrent and free venues. The big bands will perform at the Edmonds Masonic Center, choral jazz bands can be seen at the Edmonds Conference Center, and the smaller combos will perform at the Edmonds Theater. 
  • Pricing: All performances are free, donations are encouraged.

  • Where/When: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday through Monday at Seattle Center.
  • Why Go: If you're a fan of folk music, this event has probably been on your radar for weeks. And rightly so: It's one of the largest free folk festivals in the country and it's all going down this Memorial Day weekend at Seattle Center. The annual Northwest Folklife Festival will feature over 7,000 diverse performers, participatory dances, workshops, crafts, food and much more. 
  • Pricing: Admission into the festival is free, but donations are encouraged.

  • Where/When: 8 p.m. Sat, May 28 at  in Shoreline.
  • Why Go: If you're looking for laughs this weekend, you won't have to travel too far to get them. Laughing Ladies Cafe is hosting the first ever Saturday Comedy Night. The night will feature Meghan FlahertyRylee NewtonJim KellnerBarbara Holm, and your host Barbara Sehr.
  • Pricing: No cover.

  • Where/When: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Sat, May 28 at the Pub at Piper's Creek in Seattle.
  • Why Go: If you fancy yourself a beer game champion and you're looking to defend that title, head to Piper's Creek. You may want to check out the Can-Tathalon Beer Olympics this Saturday in Seattle. Sign your team up (up to 12 people per team) and compete against other teams in several beer events that will test your coordination, luck and overall beer drinking skills!
