Free Services Offered to Homeless in Snohomish County on Wednesday

Participants can receive free hot meals, medical and dental services, pet-care services, haircuts, housing resources and hearing/vision care .

Wednesday is Snohomish County's third annual Project Homeless Connect. About 950 individuals and families needing human services attended last year, almost double the number from in 2009.

More than 1,000 people are expected this year.

Snohomish County’s Human Resources Department has again collaborated with numerous nonprofits and agencies to provide services such as a hot meal, medical and dental services, pet-care services, haircuts, housing resources and hearing/vision care.

Doors open to services from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be held at Cascade High School, 801 E Casino Rd., Everett.
