2 Locations Flooded; Mudslide Near Edmonds Cancels Sounder Service
Mudslide north of Edmonds makes Northline Sounder service between Everett and Seattle unavailable Wednesday morning
The City of Edmonds Public Works Department is urging drivers to use caution if traveling near two flooded locations in Edmonds.
In addition, a mudslide north of Edmonds has canceled Sounder service between Everett and Seattle Wednesday morning.
Standing water is currently at SR 104 and Dayton Street as well as on Highway 99 and 216th Street Southwest, where water is over the roadway.

At the SR 104 location, the overflow holding lane is living up to its name and is underwater. That could cause serious delays tonight as ferry traffic is always heavy the day before Thanksgiving.
West of SR 104, the entrance to the antique mall parking lot is flooded, as well.

The department says crews have been active all night clearing drains. When approaching a signalized intersection that has no power, says the department, always treat it as a four-way stop.
Because of the possibility of heavy rains through Thanksgiving, free sandbags are available at the west entrance to Public Works facility, 7110 210th St. SW.
