Fish Tale: 10th Annual Edmonds Coho Derby Is This Saturday
This year's grand prize is $5,000.

The 2011 Edmonds Coho Derby Limited begins 6 a.m. Saturday at Edmonds Marina. Entry cost is $30, with a first-place award of $5,000 for the largest coho.
Tickets sales end Friday or when sold out. In Edmonds, tickets can be purchased at All Seasons Charters, 300 Admiral Way. New this year is the Everett weigh-in at Bayside Marine next to the Everett public launch.

The derby, part of the Northwest Salmon Derby Series, is sponsored by the SnoKing Chapter of Puget Sound Anglers.
There are three categories: all entries, adult division and kids 14 and under.

Proceeds from the event go to support organizations and events such as Kids' Fish-in Events and the Everett Derby for The Blind.
The Puget Sound Anglers SnoKing Chapter also donates a substantial amount of food for the Edmonds area seniors through the .
