Edmonds Fourth of July Celebration Receives Funding

A $25,000 grant from the Hazel Miller Foundation will support the annual festivities.

Fourth of July celebrations in Edmonds will continue this year, thanks to a $25,000 grant from the Hazel Miller Foundation.

The grant, given to the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, will fund "An Edmonds Kind of 4th." The annual festivities include a parade through downtown, a 5K fun run, and evening fireworks. Over 35,000 people are expected to attend. Edmonds has hosted a Fourth of July party for the past 100 years.

“We applaud the Hazel Miller Foundation’s commitment to support the continuance of this special community celebration," said Chamber President Ron Clyborne. "A win-win for all!”
