Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Having Benefit Auction Helping Kids and Families

Wine, beer and food will all be served March 3 at the Lynnwood Convention Center during "Teaming Up for Kids."

Want to go to an auction with beer and wine?

The Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary is sponsoring "Teaming Up for Kids," an auction with wine and beer tasting, March 3 from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW.

Participants are asked to show up with team spirit, which could including wearing your favorite team clothing (jersey, jackets, shirt, scarf) from the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors, Seattle Sounders, Mariners, Seahawks or other team.

There will be gourmet food, fine wine and microwbrewed beers. All proceeds will go to Daybreakers service projects benefiting children and families.

Registration is required. Fees are $85 for a group of one to five people and $75 for a group of six or more.

Founded in 1996, the Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary club is an organization of local community and business leaders focused on serving the needs of the citizens of our city and the world through vocational, community and international service.

Every year, the Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary puts on the Edmonds Jazz Connection series of concerts. The 12th annual event will be held on May 28.
