“The sidewalk sale takes place all around downtown Edmonds and a lot of the merchants and shop owners participate, and sometimes some of the restaurants do something special as well,” explained Ruth Arista of , which will be participating in the event. “There will be tables of goodies on the sidewalks all around town in front of stores.”

“In support of the Jazz Connection we [the Downtown Edmonds Merchants] like to team the sidewalk sale with that event so people can get good deals while shopping and enjoy great music,” said Arista.

Arista will be having their usual complimentary Saturday tasting from 1-4 p.m. and the shop owner encourages patrons to stop in for a glass of wine when they need a shopping break.

Not all merchants are participating in the sidewalk sale, and every store is offering different discounts, so shoppers are encouraged to contact their favorite shops individually for specific sale details and store hours for the weekend.
