Chocolates & Love Songs: Valentine's in Edmonds

If you still haven't found the perfect gift for Valentine's Day, your neighbors gave you a hand.

We asked Edmonds Patch Facebook followers where to find the best chocolates for Valentine's Day.

Sarah said Immaculate Confections in Edmonds is awesome, and it sounds heavenly to us.

Beverly recommended Theo Chocolate in Seattle.

For the health-conscious Valentine, Charlene said Jodee's in Greenlake has "super delicious, melt in your mouth truffles that are raw and organic."

And whether you are looking for some fun with your Valentine, or don't have a Valentine yet, Patch user Kelsey Foster, a matchmaker with Intuitive Matchmaking, told us she decided to create an inclusive event that celebrates love, whether you are single or not.

"Too much of the hoopla around this holiday makes many people feel left out," says Foster, "so I thought, 'I'm going to create a fun, no-pressure event, that let's everyone participate and is guaranteed to spread good cheer'."

The first annual "Edmonds is Love" Valentine's Caroling Event is scheduled to take place at 6:30pm on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at A Very Taki Tiki Bar (518 Main Street) in Edmonds, Washington. Meet up at 6:30 and then leave on foot to spend an hour or so serenading the streets of Edmonds with fun love songs. No singing talent is needed whatsoever and costumes are highly encouraged. Post-caroling, people will re-convene at the Taki Tiki for socializing.
