Celebrate National Visit a Park Day

On Friday April 8, head to the Edmonds waterfront for National Visit a Park Day.

This Friday, celebrate National Visit a Park Day by heading to the beaches of Edmonds.

From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Edmonds Ranger-Naturalists will lead free public beach walks at Brackett’s Landing North, Olympic Beach and Marina Beach.

The mission of Visit a Park Day is to allow people to learn more about their local, state, and regional parks. The day is also intended to showcase educational and recreational opportunities at parks across the country, enticing people to get outdoors and take advantage of open space.

For additional information on the beach walks call 425.771.0227.
