30th Annual Bite of Seattle Will Have a Little Taste of Edmonds

The Winged Pig's Michael Young and jazz guitarist Scott Lindenmuth will be featured at the popular gastronomic extravaganza.

The 30th annual edition of Bite of Seattle Friday through Sunday will have a little taste of Edmonds.

Michael Young, chef and owner of on Fifth Avenue South, will be the first chef featured on opening day during The Bite Cooks, where culinary masters create some of their favorite dishes. Young will be appear Friday from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

Young is the former owner of Olives Café and Wine Bar, which morphed into before abruptly closing in late May.

Performing on the Ntro Jazz Stage will be Edmonds resident and guitarist Scott Lindenmuth, a familiar presence around town who plays regularly at .

Lindenmuth will be have two shows Saturday, at 6:45 and 7:45 p.m., in a trio with keyboardist Andy Roben and drummer Doug Monroe.

Bite of Seattle is free and held at the Seattle Center. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. For more information, go to the Bite of Seattle website.
