Another Mudslide Cancels Sounder Train Northline Service Through Wednesday

Yet another mudslide has canceled Northline Sounder service between Everett and Seattle for Tuesday and Wednesday, Sound Transit said Tuesday.

The transit agency will provide special buses with express service to and from Northline Sounder stations. Commuters are advised to monitor www.soundtranist.org for updates before their commutes.

Evening bus service           

Seattle - Edmonds: Special buses with direct service to Edmonds Station will depart at 4:28 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., from 5th and Weller and at 4:33 p.m. and 5:35 p.m., from 4th Ave. S. and S. Jackson St. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 416 at 5th and James at 4:27 p.m., 4:58 p.m., 5:31 p.m. and 5:57 p.m. 

Seattle - Mukilteo: Special buses with direct service to Mukilteo Station will depart at 4:28 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., from 5th and Weller and at 4:33 p.m. and 5:35 p.m., from 4th Ave. S. and S. Jackson St. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 417 at 4th Ave S and S Jackson St. at 3:59 p.m., 4:22 p.m. 4:50 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.

Seattle - Everett: Special buses with direct service to Everett Station will depart at 4:00 p.m., 4:28 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. from 5th and Weller and at 4:05 p.m., 4:33 p.m. 5:05 p.m., and 5:35 p.m., from 4th Ave. S. and S. Jackson St. Riders may also board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 510 at 4th Ave. S and S. Jackson St. departing approximately every 10 minutes.

Morning bus service

Everett-Seattle: Board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 510 at Everett Station bay C1, departing approximately every 10 minutes. Additional Route 510 coaches will depart from the Greyhound loading area at 5:45 a.m., 6:15 a.m., 6:45 a.m., and 7:15 a.m. to accommodate Sounder riders.

Mukilteo-Seattle: Special buses will depart Mukilteo Station (traffic circle) at 6:26 a.m. and 7:26 a.m. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 417 at the Ferry Terminal departing at 5:49 a.m., 6:21 a.m., 6:51 a.m., and 7:53 a.m.

Edmonds-Seattle: Special buses will depart at the new Edmonds Station Transit Center at 6:41 a.m. and 7:41 a.m. Riders may also board regularly scheduled Community Transit Route 416 at Edmonds Station departing at 6:15 a.m., 6:35 a.m., 6:55 a.m., and 7:47 a.m.

*All special morning buses will provide express service to 5th and Jackson in Seattle.   

*Southline Sounder service between Seattle and Lakewood is not impacted and will operate as scheduled
