Tully's Coffee Closing Its Edmonds Store

The final day is Aug. 26.

Updated with quote from Tully's at 2 p.m.

Tully's Coffee in downtown Edmonds at 210 Fifth Ave. S. is closing. Its last day is Aug. 26.

All employees will be transferred to existing locations.

Another Tully's location in Edmonds is inside on Highway 99.

"We are closing the Edmonds store as it no longer meets our fiscal requirements for remaining in operation," said Diane Geurts, Tully's marketing director. "We have no intent to close the Top Food and Drug Store location."

DJBWA: It would still have a long way way to go to beat Bill the Butcher's record on unoccupation.

I wish that building owners would have a lease that would have had a time line limit from the time the business signed the lease to a date the business must open its doors, in the case of Bob the butcher. If you don't you easily can have a town with empty stores. I've seen this in Spokane with foreign markets buying buildings that never open. Also like Perrinville.

Hey, but how about the new location for Las Brisas? Gotta like that.

Las Brisas should do well at Old Milltown...glad to see that historic building is filling up!
