Subway Returning to Edmonds Way Corridor
New location is next to Starbucks in former location of Sub Shop, which is being divided into two businesses.
After closing its store on Edmonds Way a few years ago in the complex formally anchored by Girasol's, Subway is returing to Edmonds Way.
Subway, the Starbucks of the sandwich industry with more than 35,000 restaurants in 98 countries, will be located in the site of the former Sub Shop in the Westgate Village Shopping Center, 10016 Edmonds Way. It is next to .
It will be the second Subway in Edmonds. is at 23805 Highway 99, near 238th Street SW.

Subway's new location is currently under construction. The 2,300-square-foot site is being subdivided into two locations, with Subway leasing 1,100 square feet. A future, adjoining business is still available for lease.
National and local sandwich shops have had a tough time in Edmonds, as the former Subway on Edmonds Way and the Sub Shop showed.
