Sorry, Burger Lovers: Dick's Drive-In Not Opening Today in Edmonds
But the restaurant could open as early as next week.
Some planned special trips to Edmonds today. At least one Facebook fan said he was skipping the Washington Huskies game.

The rumor mill was abuzz that Dick's Drive-In was to open its Edmonds location on Highway 99 on Saturday. Turns out the rumor was well-founded. Dick's itself acknowledged on its Facebook page that it had hoped to open Saturday to honor on his 88th birthday.

But it's just not happening.
However, Dick's does say that it could open as early as next week.
