Rally to Save Robin Hood Lanes is Saturday at the Bowling Alley

"Rally for the Alley" supporters will be waving signs on Edmonds Way.

A rally organized by supporters of Robin Hood Lanes is today at 11 a.m. at the Westgate bowling alley.

Walgreens has applied for permits to build a store on the site after buying the land from the Wuscher Family LLLP.

"We're asking the community to come and show their support to save our alley," said , who is leading a grassroots effort through opionion pieces, TV and radio interviews and stories in local media, including , My Edmonds News and Edmonds KOMO.

"We are not going down without a fight. People can bring signs to help us spread the news to traffic on Edmonds Way. We don't want Walgreens to tear down our community bowling alley."
