Customers who purchased the cat food can return it for full refund or exchange.

, a new Edmonds pet shop that has its grand opening this weekend after a soft opening on Feb. 24, has issued a voluntary recall of Wellness Canned Cat Food.

Items taken off shelves are Wellness Canned Cat, all flavors and sizes, including CORE, best-buy dates from 14Apr13 thorugh 30SEP13; and Wellness Canned Cat Chicken and Herring, all sizes, best buy dates of 10Nov13 and 17Nov13.

The stores say the affected products may be deficeint in thiamine, Vitamin B1. Those who may have purchased the products should return them for a full refund or exchange. In a statement, All the Best said: "If you have already fed cans (from) the affected lots (only a small amount of which, the company tells us, had too little thiamine), be assured that the chance of developing a deficiency is remote and is reversible."
