“After being in the community for only a few weeks, we have experienced a warm welcome from the public, the City of Edmonds and our landlord, Wilson Properties,” Mike Trask said in a press release.  “We are very excited to bring the power of the IGA brand to Edmonds and share its many benefits and hometown values with our new community.”

A soft opening is planned in mid-May once renovations of the building at 550 5th Avenue South are complete and the store is stocked. Petosa’s had been the only supermarket in downtown Edmonds, and city officials see the new store as a big asset for the many senior citizens and others who live there.
